Savannah Guthrie returned<\/a> to NBC\u2019s “Today” on Monday after a two-month absence as the search for her missing mother continues.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Good morning, welcome to \u2018Today\u2019 on this Monday morning. We are so glad you started your week with us, and it is good to be home,” Guthrie told viewers.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“Here we go, ready or not, let\u2019s do the news,” she added, alongside co-anchor Craig Melvin.<\/p>\n

“So good to have you back,” he said.<\/p>\n

Guthrie wore a yellow dress as Melvin wore a yellow tie and pin in a nod to the search for her mother. The duo did not mention Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance at the top of the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Nancy Guthrie is believed to have been taken from her home against her will and was last seen when her son-in-law dropped her off at home around 10 p.m. the night before she went missing. In the early morning hours,\u00a0a masked man was seen\u00a0on her doorstep and appeared to be armed with a handgun.<\/p>\n
