Russian attacks on two towns in Donetsk Oblast left five people dead and another injured on July 6, Governor Vadim Filashkin reported. <\/p>\n

Russia attacked the front-line towns of Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka.<\/p>\n

In Kostiantynivka, Russian airstrikes and missile attacks killed four people and injured another person, Filashkin said<\/a>. The heavy attacks also damaged 14 homes, four high-rise buildings, an administrative building, a car, and five power lines. <\/p>\n

In Druzhkivka, a Russian first-person-view (FPV<\/a>) drone killed one person and damaged equipement. <\/p>\n

Filashkin warned that both Kostiantynivka and Druzhkivka are “under constant enemy fire” and urged residents to relocate<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“It is dangerous to stay here! Evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine!” Filashkin wrote on Telegram after the attack. <\/p>\n

In late June, Filashkin reported that Kostiantynivka, in eastern <\/strong>Donetsk Oblast<\/a>, faces an imminent “humanitarian catastrophe.”<\/a> The town lies just 10 to 15 kilometers (6 to 9 miles) from several areas currently occupied by Russian forces, according to battlefield mapping site <\/strong>DeepState<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Kostiantynivka has come under intensified <\/strong>attack<\/a> in recent months as Moscow pushes westward beyond its gains around other nearby towns.<\/p>\n
